protect funds in bitrue and coinex crypto exchange

Do you add money to crypto currency exchanges? Keep your assets safe in these crypto exchanges by following the steps in this review article, which is a personal study case.

Trading in crypto exchanges is a turning point in everyone's making money plan, because it is one of the trending fields to make money all over the globe, and it is one of the making money fields that may give very high profits for those who practice it, but here comes one essential question: what if lost those funds? What if I lose access to them? And from my own experience in Bitrue.com and Coinex.com.

Bitrue.com and Coinex.com. are two of the old crypto-exchanges that accept all members from all around the world. Coinex.com. doesn't require any KYC verification for members, while Bitrue.com has easy verification requirements.

Bitrue.com was launched at 2018, HQ's are in Singapore and Taiwan, it has a 24hrs trading volume of $2,265,626,111, and has about 1000 pairs of trading.

Coinex.com was launched at 2018, HQ's are in the United States, it has a 24hrs trading volume of $27,400,911.02, and has about 1000 pairs of trading.

My SMS verification problem with Bitrue.com (Study Case)

Stay Safe: Review Protect Your Money in Exchanges.

The problem that I had stopped receiving SMS verification from Bitrue.com, this way I was locked out of my account.

I had to contact the support team through this link. Do not send any inquiry through their telegram group

l live in Syria and there are economic sanctions on the Syrian goverenment and citizens. So I think the problem starts with the SMS provider Bitrue.com uses.

After that, I made contact with the support team, and after a period of time, and many messages from me to them ( I was angry and  rude sometimes with them), they gave me a list of questions like in the photo below:

changing bound phone number in bitrue.com crypto exchange

Note if you want to change the bound phone number in Bitrue.com crypto-exchange:

  • You must keep a copy of your account balance (it is better if you know all the coins and their exact balances).
  • You mustn't  delete login notification emails to remember the last time you logged into Bitrue.com if needed.
  • Your IP address ( if you have a static IP address), or if you have a dynamic address you should use this link, and it will obtain your IP address.
  • Your deposit record, also from your email messages, and you mustn't delete these messages too.

The support team will change your phone number after 2 weeks, and your account will be frozen for 24 hours after that.

How to prevent this from happening?

The easiest solution is to bind google authenticator to your account in Bitrue.com

My Email verification problem with Coinex.com (Study Case)

Stay Safe: Review Protect Your Money in Exchanges.

I registered at Coinex.com in 2019 with my yahoo email. Afterwards, Yahoo started banning crypto emails, and many companies guided their clients never to use Yahoo mail again for registration in their websites. My account was locked up for more than a year before I finally found withdrawn proof from another exchange to Coinex.com, but within that time I was very anxious about my funds at Coinex.com and very frustrated, and I don't want this to happen to any of you.

To solve this problem, follow the steps from this page..

Allended details are found on the previous page, but you must keep in mind those notes to solve the Yahoo mail problem with Coinex.com:

Note if you want to change the bound email in Coinex.com crypto-exchange:

  • You must keep a photo of your account balance (it is better if you know all the coins and their exact balances).
  • You mustn't delete login notification emails to remember the last time you logged in Coinex.com if needed.
  • Photo of your deposit record, also from your email messages, and you mustn't delete these messages too.

How to stay safe: and protect your money in crypto-exchanges?

  • Choose a long and strong password. Every exchange must have its own passowrd.
  • First of all, you must know if the crypto-exchange requires KYC verification or not.
  • Bind Google authenticator with your account immediately, and if the exchange doesn't have an authenticator option you must know that before making deposits in it.
  • You must know that when you deposit your money in another website, now you have to follow their rules or like they say:
Not your keys, not your coins
  • The last not will lead to the next rule: seperate your deposit in amy laces, do not count on one crypto-exchange.
  • This field is full of surprises, any site may turn to scam any moment, but you must consider the exchange rating in popular websites.
  • If you can, keep the stored curencies in physical hardware wallets.

Conclusion

Your assets are your own responsibility, not anyone else's. Do not hesitate to make anything possible to keep them safe.
